The Stradic FI includes an aluminum spool, an aluminum frame with graphite sideplate and rotor, and Paladin Gear Durability Enhancement. Its Propulsion Line Management System uses a propulsion spool, an SR one-piece bail wire, a Power Roller III, a redesigned bail trip mechanism and a S-arm cam for longer, more accurate casts with less effort while reducing backlash. An Aerowrap II Oscillation worm gear system reduces friction and increases casting efficiency. Shielded Anti-Rust Bearings keep water and dirt out. A machined-aluminum handle with Septon grips has direct drive to eliminate play and increase power. Waterproof drag keeps out dirt and water. There's a maintenance port for easy lubrication. Spare aluminum spool included. The Model 2500 in this combination holds up to 140 yards of 8-lb. test line, is geared at 6.0:1, features five ball bearings and one roller bearing, has a maximum drag setting of 15 lbs. and weighs 9.5 oz. From trout to tarpon and everything in between, our Salt Striker Inshore Rods offer lengths and actions that are proven to produce from Texas to the Carolinas. 100% high-modulus graphite construction reduces the overall weight of these rods and provides strength, sensitivity and optimum performance. To improve on these rods, we've outfitted them with Batson's new SS316 guides, made from high-grade stainless steel for better corrosion resistance. And we included premium cork grips for improved sensitivity. Actions are tailored for everything from popping corks with bait and finessing plastics to cranking plugs and topwater baits. Plus, there are models with the backbone and strength to land inshore monsters like tarpon, snook and permit. Graphite reel seats. LB (live bait) models has a softer tip action for throwing live bait.
