The Vexsis fly reel series is loaded with modern Ross technology and innovative engineering. The complete handle includes an aluminum handle blank and knob and weighs about 3 oz. The knob and handle blank are constructed from 6061 Aluminum. The hollow aluminum knob, 1.85" (47mm) in diameter, is extremely light weight and incredibly comfortable. The handle blank is 3.75" in length. The length being longer than the original, it provides for greater torque. The knob and handle blank comes in BLACK only.

Varispeed By using an oval oscillation gear, we are able to provide a consistent spool speed for an even line lay which results in excellent castability and manageability (not available on AX-ULSA). Super Stopper II is a one-way roller bearing that eliminates backplay for solid hooksets, yet can be turned on or off to allow back reeling (not available on AX-ULSA). Ported Handle Shank reduces the overall weight of the reel (not available on AX-ULSA). Dyna-Balance similar to balancing a tire, we use counterbalancing techniques in the rotor to eliminate wobble during the retrieve. About Zebco
Watchmaker, barber, and inventor R.D. Hull founded Zebco in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1949, in conjunction with the Zero Hour Bomb Company. Failure is not something we take lightly on a reel's drag system, or any other part for that matter. When we set out to create the new EastFork reels we started with no preconceptions. We had no set manufacturing technique, no preexisting components and no vision of the final product. What came out of it is performance, and at under 0, performance you'd expect to get from a reel costing twice as much.
